DESIGN COMPETITION

Organised in collaboration with ADI (Industrial Design Association), of which Pircher is a member, the Garden Oasis competition has been a great success.

The winning projects were chosen from over 500 projects submitted by designers, architects, students and creatives from all over the world for their interpretation of wood and its endless possibilities of use in an innovative way. The prizes were given on 20th April, 2007, during Zona Tortona Design Night, in the "That's Design!" event. These are the winners: in the student category, the first prize was awarded ex-aequo to Alessandro Lopez for LIMU and to the group IDI’AC (Elena Panini, Luca Gadda and Manuela Stragliotto) with "K to the world"; in the professionals category, the prize went to "Skipper", designed by Julijana Kaftanic' and Olga Barmine.
